Our story
CANAL was founded in 1994 and could rely from the very beginning on the expertise and craftsmanship of two German partners: Dillinger Fabrik gelochter Bleche and Paul GmbH & Co. The company established itself in an ideal location, situated between Antwerp, with its international port, and Brussels, the heart of Europe.
Today, CANAL serves more than 300 customers across 50 countries in a wide range of industries — from chemicals to food processing, and from metals to recycling. In addition, CANAL provides customers in these diverse sectors with the right solutions, whether for wire mesh, perforated sheets, expanded metal, filters, or welded mesh.

Founded in 1895, Dillinger Fabrik gelochter Bleche GmbH has 125 years of experience in the production and processing of perforated sheets. Their perforated sheet products are sold directly and through international partners in more than 20 European and non-European countries.
